Hello. My name is Dwight “Dewey” Gunnarson and I am proud to be your Mayor of Annandale.
We are blessed to have our businesses, service organizations, schools, and city all going in the same direction. That direction is one of keeping things simple while preparing our community for future prosperity.
We’ve accomplished a lot of great things and here is a short list:
- Brought a new Broadband Option to Annandale
- Updated our Parks and Trails
- Expanded our Pedestrian Trail System (Southside Trail System)
- Working towards a new Downtown Redesign
- Negotiated a Beneficial Purchase of Easement with Aurora Solar
- Built an Amazing Recreational Facility
Here is what we are working on:
- Implement the New Downtown Plan
- Continue to work with Midco on future broadband expansion for a redundant fiber connection
- Open and Promote the New Recreational Facility
- Secure new Industrial Intersection and Railroad Crossing for future business park expansion
